In my neighborhood I appreciate trees that are large enough to help contribute to privacy.

Mess and leaf litter are a consideration factor for me in type of tree to plant.

I have 3 trees in my front yard which I love. The trees on the back on my property on city property leave a mess in my back yard. I have a pool and the leaf litter has increased cost to me in pool management. Love tree but there is a cost to the resident. Trees too close to foundation could cost a problem to sidewalk, property foundation and fencing.

Trees with a small root system that is controlled would be better. I see some of the large trees around the city on personal property where the roots are exposed causing damage to the yards.

Would be great for landscapers to be educated to provide guidance.
